Lisa Edelstein (born Lisa Edelstein) is an American actor who is best known for playing House in Fox's Medical drama House. She was raised in Wayne where she was a part of a traditional Jewish tradition. When she was 18, she moved into New York City to study at Tisch School of the Arts. She was soon involved with club culture and caused enough of a stir that she caught the interest of the media. Her experience and fame along with her personal experience to create and present a program called Positive Me. Awake on the Wild Side was her next assignment.
